Reports To: VP & Head of SEO

Symphonic Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Strategist who is analytical, proactive, and driven to achieve results for our growing portfolio of clients. This is not an entry-level position; we are looking for a strategic thinker and problem-solver who is both self-sufficient and capable of operating effectively in a collaborative, remote agency environment.

The Senior SEO Strategist will play a vital role in shaping and executing data-backed SEO strategies, performing in-depth analysis, and identifying actionable insights that directly impact client success. This high-impact position lets you leverage your technical expertise, analytical skills, and deep SEO knowledge to drive measurable growth for our B2B, eCommerce, and agency clients.

We are looking for an individual with exceptional analytical and communication skills who can interpret complex data and effectively convey insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong command of SEO best practices and brings an understanding of complementary digital channels, such as content marketing, web development, social media, and usability.

Primary Responsibilities

Advanced Analytics & Reporting

  • Perform deep-dive data analysis to assess website performance and uncover insights that inform optimization strategies.
  • Generate detailed SEO performance reports, dashboards, and analyses that communicate results and actionable insights to clients and internal teams.

Client Collaboration & Support

  • Act as an SEO subject matter expert for assigned accounts, proactively identifying client needs, potential challenges, and solutions.
  • Communicate insights, strategies, and recommendations to clients in a clear, results-focused manner.

Technical SEO Optimization

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure website health, optimized crawlability, and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Execute and advise on advanced technical SEO strategies, including site structure improvements, speed optimization, and schema markup.

Research & Innovation

  • Stay current with SEO trends, industry updates, and search engine algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Test and validate new SEO tactics and tools, contributing to team knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Knowledge and experience with leading CMS systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for client interactions and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to diagnose website issues.
  • Experience in working across multiple accounts and industries.

We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and communication skills who can effectively interpret SEO data and share actionable insights with both clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SEO and digital marketing channels such as content marketing, web development, and social media, and is eager to continue learning and growing within our dynamic team.

Primary Responsibilities

SEO Analysis and Strategy Implementation

  • Perform simple SEO audits and data analysis to uncover opportunities and recommend improvements in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Implement and monitor tailored SEO strategies that align with client goals, utilizing best practices in technical SEO, content, and link-building.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the SEO point of contact for small to midsize clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews with clients, presenting reports and strategic insights to ensure ongoing alignment and satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and analyze SEO performance metrics across all client accounts, providing actionable insights and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Prepare and present detailed, data-driven SEO reports that clearly communicate results, trends, and next steps.

Technical SEO Optimization

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure website health, optimized crawlability, and adherence to SEO best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting complex data and strategies to clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency experience, particularly in managing accounts.
  • Knowledge of PPC and digital advertising.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, SEO, or digital marketing are a plus.
