Senior PPC Manager
Senior PPC Manager

Symphonic Digital is looking for a paid media manager who is a problem solver, punctual, responsible, a great communicator, confident, and easy to talk to.

As this is not an entry-level position, we are looking for outstanding individual contributors who are proactive, self-sufficient, and can successfully operate unsupervised in a remote agency team environment.

In our structure, this Senior PPC Manager is an expert in one or two performance media channels and can develop and plan a media strategy, execute against the plan, and, when necessary, manage and lead an execution team.

Qualifications & Expectations

  • 5-10 years of experience directly managing media accounts:
    • Managed Medium to Large Agency accounts (notable digital advertising agency with 20+ employees).
    • Experience completing hands-on account/campaign builds (e.g., Google, Bing, Facebook).
    • Driven quantifiable performance improvements in Google and Bing.
    • Developed insightful and winning strategy presentations.
    • Managed teams while continuing to perform hands-on work
    • Seeks out ongoing knowledge of evolving digital media tools, trends, and tactics as a resource for agency teams
    • Understands the differences and challenges between working with small budgets and working with large budgets.
    • Utilized keyword, ad copy, and audience targeting optimization best practices.
  • Strong communication skills:
    • Served in a client-facing role and proven strength at explaining concepts and marketing strategies.
    • Act as a client and internal liaison by setting expectations, leading reporting calls, developing and delivering monthly strategic reports, communicating key metrics, goals, and optimization opportunities
    • Has a demonstrated ability to support cross-functional agency teams, partners, and clients
  • Technology proficiencies:
    • Fluent in Google Ads and Bing Editors.
    • Adept at bulk editing on Facebook.
    • Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
    • Familiar with task management systems.
    • Have used 3rd party tracking tools (e.g., Facebook pixel, Hotjar, etc.).
    • Have used reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Data Studio)
  • Certified in:
    • Google Ads.
    • Google Analytics.
    • Facebook Blueprint
  • Understanding of:
    • SEO (Search Engine Optimization – enough knowledge to have a conversation).
    • Or use of  bid management tools (e.g., Marin, Optmyzr)
  • Vertical/Industry Experience: A successful team member will have worked across a variety of industries with varying goals and objectives from sales and ROAS, to lead generation and awareness.
    • eCommerce – experience in optimizing ROAS (return-on-ad-spend) and/or CPO (cost-per-order)
    • Service – experience in optimizing CPA (cost-per-acquisition)
    • Brick and Mortar – experience in optimizing foot traffic and/or intent-to-visit
    • B2B – experience in specific copywriting and targeting
    • B2C – experience in specific copywriting and targeting

Digital Analytics & Reporting Specialist
Digital Analytics & Reporting Specialist

Symphonic Digital is looking for a part-time or contract Digital Analytics and Reporting Specialist with extensive Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio experience.

We are looking for an expert who can lead the setup, optimization, and analysis of digital analytics based properties such as Google Analytics and related conversion-tracking systems such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. This individual should also have experience setting up and designing dashboards, and ingesting and displaying data in Analytics and Google Data Studio.

This role will work directly with clients, which include direct clients and agency partners. It is essential that the person in this role be able to communicate findings and anomalies in a clear and concise manner as it pertains to digital analytics. They should be able to display and relay data in an efficient manner to allow our clients to understand the performance of their digital marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • Prior agency experience required
  • 3+ Years Direct Experience
  • Auditing, setting up, and optimizing Google Analytics accounts
  • Auditing, setting up, and optimizing Google Tag Manager accounts
  • Linking data sources (e.g., Zapier)
  • Setting up and linking Google Search Console with Google Ads
  • Designing, and setting up Google Data Studio templates
  • Linking data sources using Supermetrics
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing

Certifications:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager (or equivalency)

Strong considerations include (Experience/Certification)

  • Google Scripts and/or Javascript
  • Google Sheets

Who We Are Looking For

Symphonic Digital is seeking a self-motivated, well-connected Business Development Director to establish and grow our business development team. 

This person will have previous agency experience or will have experience working with agencies in a business development or client management role. We need someone who is familiar with the digital marketing industry and who knows how to communicate the value of digital marketing services to small and medium sized businesses.

This individual will be the first full-time member of our sales team and will be responsible for owning the position and the growth of the team. They will be the first, but they won’t be the last! 

We want someone who:

  • Has a virtual Rolodex of SMB or Agency contacts and can hit the ground running to quickly drive business
  • Is hungry for a leadership role and the responsibility of growing a team
  • Can own the setup and optimization of inbound and outbound processes and systems
  • Will own the sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing strategy
  • Proactively initiates and develops existing relationships with potential clients
  • Crafts and manages complex pitches and prospect meetings
  • Contributes to new business strategy development along with executive leadership

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has a proven track record of building business within the digital marketing space (5+ years of experience)
  • Can communicate effectively with prospects, clients, and colleagues from entry level to executives
  • Is familiar with digital marketing strategies, trends, and fundamentals
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Needs little management, is self-sufficient and is looking for coaching and mentorship rather than micromanaging
  • Manages their time to a tee, stays super organized, and follows through on tasks
